Start the Day

Greetings, daily routines, prepare for day.  Play and exploration.

9:30 - 10:00

Choice Time

We strive to provide students with open-ended, free-choice activities.

11:00 - 11:30

Large Motor Activites

Physical and social wellness activities at out inside/outside play areas.

12:45 - 1:30

Table Top Activities

These are quiet, student directed activities. Teachers will help students in areas that they may be struggling with, or help reinforce concepts that are already being taught.

Morning Meeting

Reading & Math readiness activities.  Interactive large group activities.

10:00 - 10:30

Snack

Snacks can be provided or your child can bring their own.

Lunch

Lunch will be provided in a family style setting to help children develop independent skills and enjoy in socializing with friends.

1:30 - 2:00

Afternoon Meeting

Reading & Math readiness activities. Interactive large group activities.

3:00 - 3:15

Goodbye

Children will gather their belongings and get ready to head for home.

9:00 - 9:30

Centers

We strive to provide students with the opportunity to participate in exploration activities with an emphasis on daily readiness concepts.

10:30 - 11:00

Music

The children are exposed to basic musical skills lead by our K-6 Music Teacher, Mrs. Silbernagel.

12:15 - 12:45

Rest Time

Children will reenergize during this 30 minute rest period.

2:00 - 2:30

Snack Time

Snacks can be provided or your child may bring their own.

We have a wrap-around care from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is an additional charge of $3.00 per 30 minutes that your child is here.

The Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (MNSAA) has accredited St. Henry's Area School for 2017-2023.  MNSAA is a federally- and state-sanctioned non-profit association for accrediting nonpublic schools in the State of Minnesota.  Their mission is to be a catalyst for enhancing the quality of nonpublic education in Minnesota through a comprehensive process of accreditation.

Schools are accredited based on their compliance with a set of rigorous standards which identify essential personnel, instruction, facility, curriculum, governance, and marketing policies and practices that are considered necessary for an effective school.
